Villa Paradiso Suite

Generally speaking this hotel is really good. We had some difficulty when checking in the hotel, e.g. the reception gave us a room key and the room was already occupied. There was some other stuff with them which I do not even like to mention. So with that saying the reception staff is ok, not the best in service, as it is a 4 Stars hotel, but ok. The rooms are really good and you can see that the hotel was renovated and everything is new. We enjoyed sleeping there. The breakfast is phenomenal and the guy responsible for the breakfast is the absolute best and soo very friendly!! Cleaning is also really good, everyday new towels and you can see that the cleaning staff really cleans the room. The pool is also very good. The location of the hotel is very good. We stayed there in August 2020 and you really could see that they try their best with the current Corona situation. I rated it with "only" 3 Stars here, as we were not pleased with the reception staff, but I feel like that that's just one experience you make out of 10 different situations. So if you want to enjoy a nice and relaxing holiday, we would totally recommend it.

Happy with this hotel but a few misses. Room toilet door is glass door with opaque strips so privacy is compromised. Toilet bowl faces the bidet so space is compromised. Bed is not the standard queen or king sized, It’s two single beds joined together. The garden facing rooms have no lift access so have to carry the luggage up yourself. Wide selection of breakfast but if you eat the same thing everyday, it can be quite boring. Otherwise room is extremely clean, comfortable, good size balcony and room size. Ample parking space. Lots of sun beds amidst plants of roses, olive trees, kumquat trees with squirrels jumping around. Right sized pool but too cold in sept to swim in. Better to keep beach towels for the days you stay there. Direct access to the lake. I’d definitely go back again.
